The Federal Black Cloud FS is a purpose-built 12 Gauge waterfowl shotshell loaded into a 3.50″ magnum hull for the longest reaches of pass shooting and flooded timber. Each round delivers a 1-1/2 oz payload of steel 4 shot at a muzzle velocity of 1500 fps, giving duck and goose hunters a hard-hitting, non-toxic payload compliant with federal migratory bird regulations.
At the core of the Black Cloud FS load is Federal’s FLITECONTROL FLEX wad, a rear-opening construction that keeps the shot column enclosed inside the wad in flight before peeling open from the back at the target. Combined with carefully selected steel shot, this wad technology produces noticeably tighter, more uniform patterns than conventional steel loads – especially through both ported and standard chokes.
Whether you are reaching out at distant geese or finishing off mallards tailing into a spread, the Black Cloud FS is engineered to put more pellets on target. Available in a 25-round box or a full case of 250 rounds (10 boxes).
