The Federal American Eagle Indoor Range Training line is purpose-built for shooters who train at indoor facilities with lead-free requirements. Loaded in 40 S&W, this round pairs a lead-free projectile with a lead-free Catalyst primer and a brass casing to keep range air cleaner without giving up the familiar feel and recoil of a standard pressure 40 S&W load.
Each cartridge is built around a 120 grain lead-free IRT (Indoor Range Training) bullet that leaves the muzzle at 1330 fps and produces 471 ft lbs of energy. The American Eagle Indoor Range Training load is intended for target shooting at indoor ranges and is a smart pick for high-volume practice where lead-free ammunition is mandated or preferred.
