Purpose-built as an excellent woods load for hunting or defense against the largest animals that bite, the hard cast solid construction is engineered to hold together on impact, driving straight through heavy muscle and bone for maximum penetration on dangerous game.
Loaded in reloadable brass cases, this round pushes the 360 grain hard cast solid at a muzzle velocity of 1500 fps, generating 1799 ft lbs of muzzle energy. That combination of bullet weight, velocity, and energy is what makes the 454 Casull one of the most respected handgun hunting cartridges in use today. Each box contains 20 rounds, with the bulk case option packing 500 rounds (25 boxes) for high-volume shooting or stockpiling.
