Each brass case carries a stacked pairing of projectiles – a 230-grain jacketed hollow point seated over a lead ball – engineered to launch as a controlled pair from a 5-inch barrel, with both projectiles typically impacting within roughly an inch of one another for a dramatically expanded wound channel.
Engineered for home defense and personal protection, this load pushes the twin-projectile payload downrange at a muzzle velocity of 1050 fps and produces 563 ft lbs of muzzle energy, delivering deep penetration with controlled expansion and extreme fragmentation throughout the wound channel.
