The DoubleTap Ammunition Defense Tac-XP is a .380 ACP personal defense load built around an 80 grain all-copper DT Lead Free hollow-point bullet. Engineered specifically for the new generation of compact .380 pistols from Kel-Tec, Ruger, Kahr, DE, and Taurus, this round is designed to deliver controlled expansion and deep penetration with virtually no muzzle flash, making it an excellent option for concealed-carry and home-defense use.
Pushing the 80 gr bullet at a 1100 fps muzzle velocity, the load produces 214 ft lbs of energy at the muzzle. The lead-free, all-copper projectile is designed for uniform, controlled expansion on impact, and the brass case provides reliable feeding, extraction, and corrosion resistance.
Each box contains 20 rounds of brass-cased ammunition, and cases hold 50 boxes for a total of 1000 rounds per case. Whether you stock a single magazine for everyday carry or load out a full case for training and defense, the Defense Tac-XP gives compact .380 shooters a purpose-built duty load.
