Description
The Cross Armory Safe Mag (CRSM) is a magazine locking system for AR-platform rifles built to keep your build compliant with state laws that require a fixed magazine. Designed in California around the Mil-Spec AR-15 and M4 pattern, it replaces standard lower-receiver components so the magazine cannot be released or removed without first separating the upper and lower receivers.
The Safe Mag is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in a durable black anodized coating for long-term wear resistance. It installs on Mil-Spec AR-15 and M4 lower receivers that meet the standard pattern.
When the upper and lower are separated during normal field-stripping, the magazine automatically releases – no extra button or pin to push, no tools required. That automatic release is the design’s key feature: it lets the shooter still drop the mag for clearing or reloading while the rifle remains in a compliant configuration at all other times.
