The Crickett KSA3238 Youth is a compact, single-shot bolt-action rifle chambered in 22 LR and purpose-built for younger shooters learning the fundamentals of marksmanship. Manufactured by Keystone Sporting Arms, the KSA3238 pairs a 16.12″ stainless steel barrel with a finished walnut stock in a scaled-down platform sized for small-statured shooters.
The action is a manual cocking, single-shot bolt design that promotes safe, deliberate handling. A rebounding firing pin safety prevents the gun from discharging unless the firing pin is fully cocked, giving new shooters an extra margin of safety. The single-stage trigger breaks clean at approximately 2.5-3 lbs, helping young marksmen learn proper trigger control without a heavy or gritty pull.
The stainless steel barrel and stainless steel receiver are built to resist corrosion from handling, weather, and range-day use, while the fixed walnut stock offers an 11.5″ length of pull that fits youth shooters comfortably. Iron sights consist of a fixed front blade paired with an adjustable rear peep for a clear, traditional sight picture. The rifle tips the scales at just 3 lbs with an overall length of 30″, making it easy to shoulder and carry for extended practice sessions.
