The Crickett KSA2252 is a youth-sized single-shot bolt-action rifle chambered in 22 LR and purpose-built to introduce new and small-framed shooters to the shooting sports. Built around a 16.12″ blued barrel mated to a blued stainless steel receiver, this Crickett keeps weight down to just 3 lbs and stretches to a manageable 30″ overall length with an 11.5″ length of pull sized for younger or smaller-statured right-hand shooters.
Feeding one round at a time from its single-shot chamber, the KSA2252 keeps operation simple and deliberate, which is ideal for shooters learning the fundamentals of bolt manipulation and marksmanship. A smooth single-stage trigger and a traditional bolt-action cycle promote good shooting habits, while the integrated rebounding firing pin safety adds an extra layer of protection against accidental discharge.
Sighting is handled by a traditional fixed front sight paired with an adjustable rear peep sight, letting young shooters establish a proper sight picture and learn basic windage and elevation adjustments. The rifle wears a fixed camo laminate stock in a Blue/Green color scheme that gives the KSA2252 a handsome field-ready look.
