Description
The Crickett Model 722 Sporter Compact is a bolt-action .22 LR rimfire rifle purpose-built as a compact, lightweight option for younger shooters and smaller-framed adults. The platform pairs a 16.25″ blued barrel with a blued stainless steel receiver on a classic walnut stock, giving the Model 722 a traditional sporter look in a size that’s easy to shoulder and handle.
Designed with smaller hands in mind, the Model 722 uses a 50-degree cock-on-open bolt for smooth cycling and feeds from a 7-round detachable magazine for fast follow-up shots at the range. A fixed front sight pairs with an adjustable rear sight for straightforward iron-sight target acquisition right out of the box. A rebounding firing pin safety serves as the manual safety, mechanically blocking the firing pin until the bolt is fully locked and the trigger is pulled.
The walnut stock measures a 13.5″ length of pull, fitting youth and compact-sporter shooters comfortably, and the rifle tips the scales at just 4 lbs, making it light enough for extended practice sessions. Finished in traditional blued metal with a brown walnut stock and right-hand configuration, the Model 722 Sporter Compact ships with one 7-round detachable magazine ready to load.
