The 2% capsaicin formula and related capsaicinoids deliver a powerful stream proven effective against all bear species and is EPA-registered specifically for wildlife defense.
The can discharges a cloud out to 32 feet and holds that stream for approximately 7 seconds, giving you the distance and continuous duration needed to put a defensive barrier between you and a charging bear. That range well exceeds typical personal-defense pepper sprays, which are formulated for human assailants at much shorter distances.
