The Cold Steel Master Hunter is a purpose-built fixed-blade hunting knife with a broad 4.5″ drop point blade of VG-1 San Mai III stainless steel, finished with a plain edge. Cold Steel’s San Mai III construction is a laminated stainless build that pairs a hard VG-1 core with tougher outer stainless layers, then flat-grinds the blade to optimize edge geometry for clean slicing cuts in the field.
Measuring 9.25″ overall, the Master Hunter pairs its full-sized blade with a contoured Black Kray-Ex synthetic handle that fills the palm and stays grippy in wet, cold, or blood-slicked conditions. Weighing in at just 6 oz, the knife is light enough to carry all day on the belt yet substantial enough to handle big-game field-dressing chores. Rounding out the package is a Secure-Ex molded sheath designed for secure belt carry and fast, one-handed access when game is down.
