The Citadel M1911 Baby Compact brings the classic 1911-A1 single-action platform down to an easy-shooting .380 ACP package purpose-built for concealed carry. Built around a lightweight Rose Cerakote aluminum frame with an extended beavertail, the Baby Compact checks in at roughly 23.4 oz unloaded and an overall length of about 6.38″, making it a comfortable daily-carry alternative to a full-size .45 1911.
Up top, a 3.75″ stainless steel barrel rides beneath a silver serrated steel slide, giving this variant a clean two-tone appearance that pairs the polished silver slide against the warm Rose Cerakote frame for a distinctive carry look. The serrated slide aids manipulation, and the Cerakote coating provides a durable finish suited to everyday carry.
Sighting is handled by low-profile Novak sights that present a snag-free profile for concealed carry and quick target acquisition. An ambidextrous thumb safety and grip safety make this 1911-A1 friendly to both right- and left-handed shooters, while the skeletonized hammer and trigger shorten the trigger reach and give a crisp, light single-action pull. A beveled magazine well speeds up reloads, and the grip frame wears smooth black polymer grip panels.
The pistol ships with two 7-round magazines for a 7+1 capacity in .380 ACP. .380 ACP produces mild, manageable recoil that makes the Baby Compact an excellent choice for shooters who want the timeless 1911 manual of arms in a lighter, softer-shooting package.
