The Charter Arms Undercover Lite is a purpose-built snub-nose revolver designed for everyday concealed carry. Chambered in 38 Special, this small-frame double-action-only revolver pairs a compact 2″ barrel with a 5-round cylinder, making it one of the lightest .38 Special revolvers in the Charter Arms lineup.
To shave weight, Charter Arms built the Undercover Lite around a black passivated aluminum frame while keeping the steel barrel and cylinder finished in black. The result is a five-shot revolver that tips the scales at just 16 oz, with an overall length of 3.75″ – ideal for pocket or inside-the-waistband carry. A concealed hammer profile keeps the gun snag-free during the draw and prevents clothing interference.
Shooting ergonomics come from the black finger-grooved rubber grip, which provides a secure, controllable hold despite the revolver’s small frame. A simple fixed front sight pairs with the rear of the frame for fast sight acquisition at typical self-defense distances. The double-action-only trigger pull keeps operation intuitive under stress and adds a layer of safety against accidental discharge when carried in a pocket or holster.
