Purpose-built for hunting applications, this round drives a heavy 130-grain hard cast bullet at a +P pressure rating to deliver the deep, controlled penetration that hard cast projectiles are selected for when straight-line penetration through tough material is the priority.
Loaded in brass cases, the 130gr hard cast bullet leaves the muzzle at 1125 fps and produces 365 ft lbs of muzzle energy. The hard cast construction gives the projectile the weight and sectional density required for the hunting role, and the +P pressure rating extracts maximum velocity from the 32 H&R Mag case while remaining within the operating envelope of revolvers rated for +P ammunition.
