Description
The Browning X-Bolt Western Hunter Long Range is a precision bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC and purpose-built for long-range hunting and extended-range shooting. This configuration mates Browning’s proven X-Bolt action with a 26-inch stainless steel sporter-contour fluted barrel and a removable muzzle brake to help manage recoil during long strings of fire.
At the core is the X-Bolt action with its signature 60-degree bolt lift, three-lever Adjustable Feather Trigger, and top tang safety. The high-strength steel receiver ships without iron sights and accepts optics through Browning’s integrated X-Lock scope mount system. A detachable box magazine feeds the action for a 3+1 capacity, and barrel twist is 1:7 to stabilize the long, heavy-for-caliber 6.5 PRC projectiles.
The Western Hunter Long Range stock is molded from Browning’s Hard Core Fiber-Fusion composite and finished in a distinctive spider-webbed Flat Dark Earth Cerakote over a brown base, blending weather resistance with a modern field appearance. The stock incorporates Browning’s adjustable comb system so the shooter can dial in proper cheek weld across a range of optic heights. An Inflex recoil pad softens felt recoil at the shoulder. Overall length is 46″ and the rifle weighs 7.90 lbs. Right-hand, full-size configuration.
