Its polished blued steel receiver features Browning’s time-tested transverse full-width tapered locking-bolt and hinge system, locking up tight against a 30″ back-bored vent-rib barrel.
A traditional fixed gloss black walnut stock finishes the package in classic sporting style, paired with a right-hand stock configuration, an ivory bead front sight for fast target pickup, and a top-tang safety for intuitive manual control. Browning’s Triple Trigger System lets the shooter pull from any finger position for consistent follow-up, while the overall length of 47.50″ and a working weight of 7.12 lbs give the CXS a balanced, pointable swing suitable for long days on the course or in the field.
