The Browning BXD Upland shotshell is part of Browning’s Upland hunting ammunition line, marketed under the BXD Extra Distance designation – Faster. Tighter. Farther. Loaded in a stout 3″ 12 Gauge configuration, this round pushes a 1-5/8 oz payload of 5 shot out of the muzzle at 1,350 fps.
The BXD Upland uses premium nickel-plated lead shot for in-the-field performance on upland game, all wrapped in a high-brass plastic hull with the traditional upland shell profile. The combination of high velocity, a heavy 1-5/8 oz payload, and nickel-plated shot is built for the flat trajectory and reach upland hunters need when birds flush at the far edge of the field.
