Description
The Bore-Nado 70585 is a single-stroke 12 Gauge shotgun barrel cleaning rope built to make field and bench cleaning fast and simple. Designed to drop through the bore, scrub fouling, and pull residue out in one pass, it is sized specifically for 12 Gauge shotgun bores and measures 8.50″ long in a compact 2 in x 5 in x 8.50 in package that stows easily in a range bag or cleaning kit.
The rope uses Bore-Nado’s signature Vortex bristle technology, with integrated copper brushes that scour fouling from the bore while the rope body acts as a swab to carry it away. A weighted brass bore guide on the leading end makes it easy to feed the rope into the chamber and guide it through the barrel without damaging the crown. The body is constructed of cotton rope with brass components for a long service life.
Simply apply your favorite solvent, drop the weighted end through the action, and pull the rope straight through the barrel from the chamber end to remove carbon, lead, and plastic wad fouling. No rod, no patches, and no disassembly required. One Bore-Nado 70585 rope is included.
