Description
The Beretta A400 Upland is a purpose-built semi-automatic 20 Gauge shotgun designed for the upland bird hunter. Chambered for 3″ shells with a 2+1 capacity, it weighs just 6.70 lbs and features Beretta’s Kick-Off recoil-reduction system paired with an Xtra Grain walnut stock – the first A400 to combine the wood-stock Kick-Off platform with walnut furniture.
At the heart of the A400 Upland is a 28″ black barrel with a vent rib and fiber-optic front and rear sights for fast target acquisition in low light. The semi-auto action feeds through a 3″ chamber and uses Beretta’s Optima-Choke HP system, with three chokes included from the factory – F, M, and C – giving the shooter immediate pattern versatility for close flushes and longer cross-field shots.
The receiver wears a nickel finish with traditional engraving, paired with a gold-color trigger and a crossbolt safety for clean, glove-friendly manipulation. The fixed, right-hand walnut stock is finished in a classic brown tone that complements the silver-gray metal. Overall length runs 49″ to 51″ depending on stock fit, keeping the gun well-balanced for an all-day carry in the field.
Built as a refined field gun rather than a clay-busting target rig, the A400 Upland brings together Beretta’s signature semi-auto reliability, the recoil-taming Kick-Off Plus stock, and elegant nickel-and-walnut furniture in a lightweight 20 Gauge package ready for the bird cover.
