Description
The Barnes Bullets XPB pistol reloading bullet is a premium .454 Casull projectile built for serious handgun hunters and self-defense handloaders. Featuring Barnes’ patented all-copper XPB design, these 250 grain hollow points deliver dramatically increased penetration over conventional jacketed lead-core bullets, with controlled expansion and near-perfect weight retention on impact.
Machined from a solid copper alloy with a hollow point nose cavity and a cannelure for positive case mouth crimp control, each bullet measures .451″ in diameter and weighs 250 grains. The XPB profile produces a ballistic coefficient of .141 and a sectional density of .176, giving handloaders a heavy-for-caliber projectile that punches deep through hide, muscle, and bone. Because the bullet is lead-free, it is also a smart choice for use in areas with lead restrictions.
These 454 Casull pistol bullets are recommended for hunting and self-defense applications and are sized for handloading into .454 Casull cases using appropriate published reloading data. Each box contains 20 bullets from Barnes Bullets.
