This 15-inch keyed cable lock threads through the action of a long gun or the bore/frame of a handgun to render the firearm inoperable, making it a practical solution for meeting safe-storage requirements.
Built around a stainless steel cable with a low-glare black finish, the lock is designed to fit handguns, rifles, and shotguns. On a rifle or shotgun, the cable routes through the ejection port and out the loading port or magazine well with the bolt locked to the rear; on a handgun, it passes through the chamber or frame. Each lock ships with two keys so a spare is always on hand, and the entire unit weighs just 0.35 lbs for easy storage in a range bag, drawer, or pistol safe.
