Description
The Columbia River Obake (Model 2367) is a compact fixed blade EDC knife designed by Oregon custom knifemaker Lucas Burnley. Named after the Japanese word for “ghost,” the Obake pairs a classic, sweeping blade profile with modern materials and an unmistakably artful finish.
The 3.64″ blade is cut from 8Cr14MoV stainless steel and treated with an acid-etched pattern over a gray TiCN (titanium nitride) coating. The result is a flowing, Damascus-like visual effect across the blade with added corrosion resistance. A plain edge and full-tang build keep the Obake easy to maintain and ready for daily cutting chores.
The handle rides on a stainless steel full tang wrapped in black nylon cord for a tactile, secure grip whether your hands are wet or dry. Measuring 7.63″ overall and weighing only 2.40 oz, the Obake carries light and rides flat against the body. A plastic sheath is included for convenient belt carry.
