The Kleen-Bore MOP20 bore mop is a purpose-built 20 gauge shotgun cleaning mop made from 100% cotton for absorbing and applying solvents, CLP, and lubricants inside a shotgun bore. The mop features a standard 5/16-27 male thread that fits all Kleen-Bore shotgun cleaning rods as well as any other rod cut to the American-standard 5/16-27 shotgun pattern.
Cotton bore mops like the MOP20 are highly absorbent, making them well-suited for working solvent or CLP into a fouled bore and then making a final pass with a lubricant-soaked mop to leave a protective film behind. The 100% cotton construction is gentle on barrel steel while still carrying plenty of fluid, and the mop is intended as a consumable that can be replaced once it becomes saturated or frayed.
