The Barnes Bullets XPB is a premium all-copper, lead-free hollow point bullet designed for handloading .44 Magnum hunting and self-defense rounds. The XPB design uses a solid copper body with a precision hollow point nose that delivers controlled expansion and high weight retention on impact, outperforming traditional lead-core projectiles in penetration.
This 44 Rem Mag bullet is 225 grains at a .429 diameter, with a flat base and a cannelure for consistent crimping. It carries a G1 ballistic coefficient of .166, a sectional density of .175, and measures approximately 0.89″ in length. The all-copper construction means no jacket-core separation and no exposed lead, making it an excellent choice for medium game hunting and personal protection.
