The Browning BXD Upland is a premium 16 Gauge shotshell purpose-built for upland bird hunting. Loaded in a 2.75″ high-brass configuration with a plastic hull, this shell delivers premium in-the-field performance on birds like pheasant, quail, and grouse.
At the heart of the BXD Upland load is 1 1/8 oz of nickel-plated lead shot in 6 shot. The nickel plating helps keep pellets rounder in flight, retaining downrange velocity and energy while producing tighter, more consistent patterns on fast-moving birds.
Browning pushes these shells to a muzzle velocity of 1295 fps, giving hunters the flatter trajectory and extra reach needed for open-country upland hunting.
