Description
The Trijicon VCOG (Variable Combat Optical Gunsight) is a rugged, variable-powered riflescope engineered for both close-quarters battle and long-distance marksmanship. This 1-6×24 model uses an LED-illuminated, first focal plane Red Segmented Circle/Crosshair reticle calibrated for .223 Remington with 55gr ammunition, giving the shooter a true 1x for fast target acquisition at the low end and precise holdovers at full 6x magnification. The optic ships configured with a thumbscrew mount for quick, repeatable mounting on Mil-Std 1913 rails.
The 24mm objective pairs with multi-coated lenses to deliver a bright, crisp sight picture across the entire magnification range. A generous 4″ eye relief keeps the sight picture constant and forgiving, while the field of view runs from 95 ft @ 100 yds at 1x down to 15.90 ft @ 100 yds at 6x for excellent situational awareness up close and accurate target identification at distance.
The VCOG housing is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in matte Black Hardcoat Anodized for serious durability. At 10.05″ long and 23.20 oz, the optic provides a compact, well-balanced footprint on tactical carbines and designated marksman rifles alike. Windage and elevation adjustments click at 1 click @ 100m, and the scope is waterproof to 66 ft (20 m) for reliable performance in harsh field conditions.
Whether running an AR-pattern carbine at speed or dialing out for longer shots, the VCOG 1-6×24 LED combines Trijicon combat-ready construction with a flexible, modern reticle system that lets one optic cover close-in work and extended-range holds.
