The Sierra Tipped MatchKing (TMK) builds on Sierra’s legendary MatchKing design, adding a streamlined polymer tip for improved ballistic performance. This 30 Caliber/.308 projectile weighs 168 grains and pairs a lead core with a thin copper jacket, giving handloaders the concentricity and consistency Sierra is known for in match-grade rifle projectiles.
Sized at a .308″ diameter with a .253 sectional density, the 168-grain TMK is purpose-built for rifle use. According to Sierra, the tip allows this bullet to remain supersonic at 1,000 yards at normal .308 Winchester velocities, making it a strong choice for long-range target and competition shooting where retained velocity and trajectory consistency matter.
