The Weaver Mounts 36M Top Mount Base is a one-piece scope base purpose-built for the Remington 700 rifle. Machined to tight tolerances for a custom fit, this aluminum base provides a rock-solid mounting platform that bolts directly to the factory receiver and accepts standard Weaver-style rings (sold separately), giving your optic a secure, repeatable mounting point.
Constructed from high-quality aluminum for an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, the 36M is finished in a low-glare Matte Black that blends with most factory and aftermarket rifle finishes and stands up to hard field use. As a true top-mount base, it positions your rings above the receiver so the optic sits naturally for prone and bench shooting.
The 36M ships as a single 1-piece base with no rings included, letting you pair it with your choice of Weaver-style rings to match your optic’s tube diameter and objective clearance. Installation uses the factory Remington 700 receiver holes, and the tight-tolerance machined seating surface lets rings seat evenly and clamp down with confidence.
