The Aim Sports PJBS3006 Laser Bore Sight is a cartridge-style laser boresighter built to speed up scope mounting and sight alignment on rifles chambered in .30-06 Springfield, .25-06 Remington, and .270 Winchester. Drop the tool into the chamber exactly like a live round and it projects a steady red laser dot down the bore, giving you a fast, accurate starting point before you ever fire a shot.
Constructed around a real brass case, the boresighter replicates the dimensions of a factory cartridge so it chambers just like live ammunition. The integrated laser module puts out a 5mW red beam at a 635/655 nm wavelength, the standard visible-light range used by most consumer aiming devices, and is powered by common LR41 button-cell batteries that are easy to swap in the field.
Used as a preliminary alignment step before live-fire zeroing, this boresighter dramatically reduces the number of rounds needed to get on paper.
