The Lee Precision 90136 Case Length Gauge is a simple, precision-machined reloading tool designed specifically for trimming and squaring .30-30 Winchester brass. Each gauge is cut to the exact trim-to length specification for the cartridge, giving the reloader a reliable go/no-go reference instead of fumbling with calipers or improvised fixtures.
This 2-piece set pairs the hardened case length gauge with a matched threaded shell holder that locks a single .30-30 case down squarely for trimming. The gauge threads into a Lee Cutter and Lock Stud (or Zip Trim) setup, so once the case is secured in the shell holder the cutter rides against the gauge face to produce a uniform, square cut at the proper trim length of 2.039″ every time.
Built from hardened steel with a silver finish, the gauge is sized at .30 and weighs just 0.07 lb, adding virtually no bulk to a reloading bench.
