Description
The Traditions A1404 is a dedicated 209 Primer Depriming Tool designed for Traditions Evolution and Thunderbolt inline muzzleloaders. This compact two-function steel accessory is built for the muzzleloader shooter who services their own action and wants a purpose-made tool rather than a field improvisation.
One end of the tool features a precisely sized U-shaped slot that slips over a spent 209 primer seated in the breech plug adapter, allowing the shooter to quickly and cleanly decap the primer from the adapter. The opposite end is shaped to unscrew the striker assembly from the action, so the shooter can pull the striker for routine service without scraping up threads or hunting for a bench tool.
Constructed from durable steel with a black finish to Traditions’ quality standards, the A1404 keeps 209 primer changes and striker service straightforward. It is a small, inexpensive bench and field addition that is purpose-built for the Evolution and Thunderbolt platforms.
