The Lee 90152 Case Length Gauge is a precision reloading tool purpose-built for the .45-70 Government cartridge. This 2-piece gauge and shell holder set gives reloaders a fast, repeatable way to trim brass to length and square the case mouth as part of any case-prep routine.
The gauge is machined from hardened steel with a silver finish and sized to .450 for a snug fit on .45-70 Government brass. The matching shell holder is included, so the gauge drops right into a Lee press and pairs with the Cutter and Lock Stud (or Zip Trim system) to bring fired cases back to a consistent 2.085 in to 2.105 in trim length before resizing and reloading.
Designed to handle a single casing at a time, the 90152 weighs just 11 oz and is built in the USA by Lee Precision. It is a straightforward, purpose-built tool that keeps .45-70 Government brass uniform so each resized case trims to the same consistent length before reloading.
