The Sierra BlitzKing (1455) is a high-performance .22 caliber rifle reloading bullet designed for explosive expansion on varmints. At 55 grains with a Spitzer Boat Tail profile and a polymer tip, this bullet delivers devastating terminal performance at velocities up to 4400 fps.
Featuring a copper jacket over a lead core with a polymer tip that initiates rapid expansion on impact, the BlitzKing is engineered for high-volume varmint hunting where quick, humane kills are essential. The boat tail design improves ballistic efficiency, carrying a G1 BC of 0.271 and a sectional density of .157. Bullet diameter is .224″.
